Jesus was a woman

There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:

1. He called everyone brother
2. He liked Gospel
3. He didn't get a fair trial

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish:

1. He went into His Father's business
2 . He lived at home until he was 33
3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his Mother was sure He was God

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:

1. He talked with His hands
2. He had wine with His meals
3. He used olive oil

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian:

1. He never cut His hair
2. He walked around barefoot all the time
3. He started a new religion

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was an American Indian:

1. He was at peace with nature
2. He ate a lot of fish
3. He talked about the Great Spirit

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Irish:

1. He never got married.
2. He was always telling stories.
3. He loved green pastures.

But the most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:

1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was virtually no food
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it
3. And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was still work to do.
(took somewhere... a place that I would call "nice")

Video message to Luc and Aki from Canada

This video was presented (in French and English and a tad of Japanese) at the recent wedding of Luc and Aki in beautiful Japan. It was one of the most touching moments of the entire splendid day. I know it really touched Luc and Aki. Sorry if many of their friends and family are missing. We only had a few hours to do the entire "montage". (If you are short on time, come back later to this video. The entire video lasts approximately 12 minutes). Press the top left back button to return here.

Be patient. It may take a few seconds/minutes to load (and it may appear dead)... but eventually the presentation will start.

Enjoy.

Appreciation is also in order to Dan, Luc's best friend who put the whole thing together.

I am Eternally Yours

To Aki
By Luc-Andre Paquette

(vows addressed to Aki at their recent wedding)

This day was meant to be
This day was made for you and me
It was written in the stars
And echoed in the breeze

You are the reason I breathe
You are the reason I live

You are the moon to my eyes
And the sun that arise

You are the flame of my life
You are the one I dreamt for my wife
You are the fire that burns inside
My only true life companion by my side

You are my friend, my love and my bride
You are my joy, my heart and my pride
You are my true inspiration
My only orientation
My salvation
And my ultimate foundation

The seasons will change
The winds may blow
The waterfalls will flow
I promise to always love you so

As I give you these life vows
There is never enough words to say
How much I love you Aki
My beloved, ma bien aimee, Sai I no hito

Luc Also blew me away when he played the Japanese Koto instrumenty. He is a great guitarist... but I didn't even know that he learned that difficult Japanese instrument in just a few weeks. Here is a portion of his performance (59 seconds only...) Just press the top back button to return here. http://picasaweb.google.com/paquette.philippe/WEDDINGLucAndAki/photo#5051068411709754018

Emily... recent song production

This is a song I co-wrote with my son and the music is from Dan the man. It will also be part of our recent movie coming out soon: Bollywood North.
I love the final credit song. It lasts less than 3 minutes. Worth your while. You should read the text first, then listen to the music, and back button to return here.

Enjoy Dan's spectacular voice and talent: (click on the link below... and then, click the play icon... and enjoy...)
.
PS : The beutiful actress photographed here is Annick Sheedy McLellan playing the role of Emely.

Emely

From the moment I saw you
From the outset of my dreams
Realized I would never again be blue
One single moment, with one single moment
My life became new, my life became new.

Emely, Emely…

From the silence without you
From the outlet of my screams
Realized I would forever be true
A single moment, with just one single moment
My life became you, my life became new…

Emely, Emely…

Very strange rock...

This must be a hoax... but a very nice one...

Look at this photo...

This picture shows a rock on a sea in Birmania, it is only possible to see this once a year with a special angle of the sun and special light conditions. I also suppose that the level of the water (how high or low it is) may make this photo a most interesting rock... (if real).

Click on the photo to enlarge it and bend your head to the left and see how spectacular it is. Again, I think this is a hoax... but a nice one. It would be truly amazing if it was true. If any of our readers know anything about this Birmanian rock, please leave us your comments.

Who "is" Jack Schitt???

For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt? We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt!'

Well, thanks to my genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an
intellectual way.

...Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, who married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack.

In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt.

Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced.

Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt Sherlock.

Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition named Chicken Schitt. Two of the other six children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony.

The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens nuptials. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Horse.

Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt.

Now when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt,' you can correct them.

Sincerely,

Crock O. Schitt

Here is much of my life...

The original photo of this picture (shown on the left) is quite amazing. Here, you have a ton of pixels missing... but the original looks like aliens are invading us :o) This insect lives mostly in our basement.
Their real name is Chilopoda – centipedes. To see in it's full glory, click on the photo on the right. Believe it or not, there are about 2,500 named species in the world. Our house species is an import from Mexico. Wonder if it likes "Tequila"? Currently, we are at war with these "squatters" and hope to become victorious soon.

Just to let my friends and family know...

You may have heard that since January of this year, I am not very well. First, a "major" burnout with all it's devastating consequences and then a "stupid" unrelated accident (left rib cage crushed, the 5 main lower ribs broken in half, perforated left lung, etc...).

Just for you to know that I am slowly recuperating. I have 3 wonderful Doctors seeing me on a weekly basis and my wonderful family is salutary to my recuperation.

I am told that my condition "will take quite some time to get back on my two feet"... but I am confident and believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. Currently, I still (since March) cannot sleep in a bed. I can only "sleep" in a chair, with proper medication... but summer is here and I will try to get some vitamin "D" (sun) and continue on my daily exercises (walking slowly).

It is with regret that I had to resign from most of the NGO's where I sit as a Director and have decreased most of my other voluntary work. ("AISO" (Association pour l'intégration sociale de l'Ontario" (mandate to take care of intelectually handicaped franco Ontarians) and "CHE" Coopérative Horizon Emploi (mandate to find jobs for people who are intelectually challenged in the Ottawa Area) . I was also involved in other NGO's and had to "take a break". I have kept my association with"Uni.ca" and currrently sit as it's "limited President" but needed to severely decreased my involvement for the time being. (Update: as of Sept 07, I have resigned as President of Uni.ca). This movement is a Citizen's movement that fights for the unity of Canada including the formal recognition of Québec, the First Nations and promoting all that is beautiful about Canada.

I also find that this blog helps me in my recuperation, strangely enough. For one thing, it helps decrease my "boredem" and helps my moral. I am not strong... currently can't spend long time on the keyboard but just a few minutes of creativity helps me more than I expected. I have a wonderful job and can't wait to get back at it... but must do so only when my body and mind are back at "functional levels".
So thank you all (from the bottom of my heart) to you all that have expressed your support, prayers and love...
I will give you updated news on my health progression once in a while but for now, I am told to "rest, rest, and rest". I find my recuperation quite slow... but thus is life sometimes.

Philippe
